SPEAKERS

Drazen Bijelic - Head of Supply Chain Performance & Strategic Projects at MilliporeSigma.

He leads global, analytics-driven initiatives that harmonize processes across multiple ERPs, institutionalize SCOR and Lean Six Sigma-based KPIs, and transform data into actionable improvements in service, cost, and speed.

With more than two decades of end-to-end supply chain experience across multiple industries and continents (Europe and Africa), Drazen has delivered significant service enhancements, substantial inventory reductions, and multimillion-dollar savings through collaboration, network optimization, and automation including RPA enabled planning and procurement. His expertise covers purchasing, transportation, finance and logistics in highly regulated, complex environments.

Drazen holds an MBA in Data Analytics from the University of Wisconsin–Parkside and both master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Transportation and Traffic Engineering from the University of Zagreb. 
He is an APICS-certified (CSCP, CLTD, CPIM, CTSC), a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and currently serves on the board of the Milwaukee Logistics Council.

Nick Sterosky - Manager in Distribution Advancement & Support at MilliporeSigma.

He supports the acquisition, testing, and implementation of various automation and warehouse management solutions in our North America distribution centers. 

Nick has been with MilliporeSigma for 24 years and is currently based at our largest Life Science DC in Milwaukee, WI.  For the past 10 years he has been responsible for managing projects involving testing and enhancements of our SAP R3/S4, Manhattan, Oracle, and warehouse control systems at our North American DCs.  Prior to his distribution roles, he led chemical production groups including the manufacture and packaging of high-purity inorganic halides, stains & dyes, and flavors & fragrances. 

Nick holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Parthiban Kulandaivelu, CDGP® - Head of Transportation Compliance at Millipore Sigma.

He heads the North America Transportation Compliance team, responsible for  Hazmat registration, special permits, training and all dangerous goods classification and customer queries to ensure the safe distribution of hazardous materials.

As a Certified Dangerous Goods Professional from IHMM-Institute of Hazardous Materials Management with a Master's in Life Sciences and a Bachelor's in Chemistry, he possesses 17 years of international experience in dangerous goods transportation and logistics management. He aims to turn regulatory challenges into business opportunities that enhance safety and compliance. 

Abdi Wege - Engagement Project Manager at Millipore Sigma

Abdi has 17+ years of experience leading teams in logistics, warehousing, and large-scale distribution operations.

Previously, Abdi managed shift operations in our 190K sq. ft. manufacturing and distribution facility with 700 employees, and in JCP was Area manger where he lead logistics at a 2M sq. ft. warehouse and outlet center supporting 30K SKUs and 150 stores nationwide. He overseen cross-dock operations shipping across the US while maintaining 98% accuracy and implementing standard work, 5S, and safety initiatives.

Abdi consistently links people strategy to supply chain performance, reducing attrition by 25%, strengthening engagement, and developing diverse leadership pipelines that improve stability and service.

Abdi holds an MBA in International Business from Concordia University–Wisconsin and a BS in Economics and Transportation & Logistics Management from the University of Wisconsin–Superior.
