How well is your internal supply chain really performing—and how do you know?

Strong supply chain performance begins with strong internal processes. In Part 1 of this two-part Lunch & Learn series, Assessing the Internal Supply Chain, participants will learn a structured approach for evaluating the activities, processes, and disciplines that form the foundation of an effective manufacturing supply chain.

The session will introduce an internal supply chain effectiveness assessment and explain how organizations can move beyond financial measures to evaluate the operational practices that ultimately drive business performance. Participants will learn how to gather objective evidence, evaluate existing processes, and use a qualitative rating methodology to identify both strengths and opportunities for improvement.

Part 1 will then examine the foundational elements of Information Management, including supply chain education, product definition, and inventory control. The discussion will explore the policies, procedures, responsibilities, data accuracy, and supporting documentation needed to establish a reliable foundation for planning and execution.
